Mystery Stole Blues

So, I signed up for this Mystery Stole thing - Ellen made me do it - and, at first, I thought it was cool. But it is s..........l..........o...........w............ going and I'm not sure that I really want to do it. What I do want to do now is spin on the Louët wheel, thanks to some Saturday people who helped me get started! I can't wait to show you my work. WARNING! I won't be in on Thursday morning! I have left strict instructions with the staff that scones are to be ready before you arrive. We'll just have to see what happens. Sorry for letting you down but my kid has an appointment that day and I have to work Stitch 'n Pitch all night.

Things I'm making... Inspirations

I have to many projects going. Whats sad is I don't really wanna work on any of them.
I've been in a knitting funk. Well ,I thought I was till I started a pair of Fingerless mitts Saturday. I blame my Australian friend Sascha for my love of Fingerless mits. She sent me my first pair in hot pink and I've been in love ever since. When I lost one of Saschas mitts I was heart broken so I started making them myself..I have no idea how many pairs... 6-8? Who knows. How may mitts can a person use.. I mean .. seriously. Plus, I found the hot pink one I thought I'd lost. When I expressed this at COHS Blanche piped up.."I could use a pair for my painting when its cold outside". So, I've started a pair of pale green cashmerino/homespun mitts for Blanche and I am feeling the nitty gritty again. Thanks Blanche.

Thanks to Annie for setting this up. We'll have to come up with some really fun stuff to post - no nudie pictures please! (Blanche, that means YOU!)

We are here.

So, while at lunch today the subject of blogs came up. Everyone agreed that I start a blog for our Thursday knitting group. Half Jokingly called "The Church of the Holy Stitch". While I don't have much to say at the moment I will set it up so we all can access it and post pictures of our projects.
